How is cricket played?

The game of cricket is a bat-and-ball contest between two teams of eleven players on a field with a pitch of 22 yards in the middle and wickets at either end made up of two bails balanced on three stumps. Although the bowling and fielding side tries to stop this, the batting side earns runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets. Being bowled, having the ball strike the stumps and knock the bails off, having the ball caught by the fielding side after it has been struck by the bat but before it hits the ground, or having the ball strike a wicket before the batter can cross the crease in front of the wicket are all examples of ways to be dismissed. The inning concludes and the sides switch roles once ten batters have been retired. In international matches, two umpires decide the contest, and a match referee and a third umpire also assist in deciding the outcome of the game. Two off-field scorers who keep track of the game's statistical data are in communication with them.

Why is Bangladesh's national cricket team not progressing?

In Bangladesh, people do not have suitable weather for their physical growth. Because of this bad weather, cricket players are physically weak compared to other players from different countries. As a result, Bangladeshi players cannot hit over-boundaries as much as other players from different countries and over-boundaries are really important as they can get a team to a good score. Furthermore, the weak domestic cricket structure is hampering the production of skilled players. So, upcoming players are not suitable for international matches, and the strength of the national team is decreasing as the team is lacking skilled players. BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Board)  is in charge of overseeing cricket in Bangladesh. Though the organization is trying to improve the quality of cricket in Bangladesh, it is failing to do so because of the lack of proper management.
